This GoHighLevel tutorial covers five updates worth turning on today: ticketed events, multi-domain email sending per workflow, multi-duration booking calendars, colored tag and pipeline categories, and a new video/audio AI agent. Every one of these lives in Labs, Settings, or Automations, and you don’t need a developer for any of it. Here’s the exact click path for each.

Here’s the thing about this GoHighLevel tutorial — none of these five features are theoretical. I turned each one on inside a real account while recording, and I’ll show you the same path so you can do it right now, not someday.

How do you turn on ticketed events in GoHighLevel?

To turn on ticketed events, go to the agency side, scroll to the bottom, click Settings, then Labs, and activate Events inside the sub-account you want. Once active, you can sell tickets, build a schedule, add coupon codes, and embed the whole event as a page or funnel.

Events are the biggest one on this list, and they’re buried unless you know where to look.

Once it’s active, you can build local or online events, sell tickets in multiple varieties, create coupon codes, set attendance limits, and build a full speaker schedule with socials attached. You can embed the whole thing as a one-pager on a website, or drop it inside a funnel page. For local events, there’s even an event app you can scan attendees in with as they walk through the door.

I built one of these completely out for an online workshop before recording this — ticket types, coupons, the full schedule. It’s the real thing, inside the tool you’re already paying for, not a stripped-down version of what other event platforms charge extra for.

“If you run online or local events for your business or your clients, this is worth setting up.”

How do you send emails from different domains per workflow?

This is one people have been asking for years, and it finally landed. Go to Settings, then Email Services. You can set up multiple dedicated IPs there — one for replies, one for no-replies, and now more beyond that.

The part that actually changes things: go to Automations, open any workflow, click into the workflow settings, and you’ll now see the option to pick which domain that specific workflow sends from. Before this update, you were stuck sending from one domain no matter how many businesses you ran through one account.

My advice: build a folder for each company inside your automations, then inside each workflow’s settings, set the sender name and sender email to match that company’s domain. If a business also needs its own number for text replies, assign that number at the same time so everything from that company — email and SMS — stays under one identity. If you’re running more than one brand out of a single sub-account, this alone is worth checking today.

How do you set up multiple appointment durations on one calendar?

Before this update, offering a 15-minute, 30-minute, and 60-minute option meant building three separate calendars. Now it’s one calendar, multiple durations.

Open any existing calendar, hit Edit, and go to Booking Rules. You’ll see a new option to add additional durations — 45 minutes, 60 minutes, 90, whatever fits. Save it, then preview the booking page. Your prospects now pick their own duration from a single scheduling link instead of you managing three separate calendar URLs.

If you coach clients or run consultations with tiered call lengths, this removes a whole layer of calendar management you didn’t need in the first place.

How do you add colored categories to tags and pipelines?

This one’s small but genuinely useful once your account gets messy. In Labs, go to the sub-account area, find Tags, and hit Activate Feature. You can bulk-enable it across accounts in one action.

Then go to Settings, then Tags, and create a new tag. You’ll now see the option to assign it to a category and give it a color — I set up an “SMS” category, made opt-ins green and number errors red. At a glance, you can tell what a tag means without reading the label.

The same color logic now works on pipelines. Go to Pipelines, click a pipeline, hit Edit, and you’ll see a stage color option next to each stage name. Set colors for New Leads, Booked, Closed — whatever your stages are — and your opportunities board turns from a wall of gray cards into something you can actually scan.

What can the new GoHighLevel AI agent actually do with video and audio?

The new AI agent, found under AI Agents and Agent Studio, can generate a short welcome video and write a voice script triggered off an automation like a form submission. In current testing it wrote the script correctly but did not carry the audio over into the rendered video, so the clip came out silent.

This is the newest and roughest of the five, and I want to be honest about where it stands. Go to AI Agents, then Agent Studio, and create a managed agent. I asked it to build an audio-and-video agent for client use, gave it a trigger — form submitted, in my test — and had it generate an eight-second welcome video with a voice line.

The script came through fine: “Welcome to Automated Marketer, how can I assist you today?” But when I asked it to generate the eight-second video using that same voice, it didn’t carry the audio over. The video rendered — a short animated clip — but silent.

Here’s the honest gotcha: this feature isn’t production-ready yet. It’s a fun preview of where GoHighLevel is heading, and I can see this becoming a real onboarding or engagement tool triggered off automations. But if you’re expecting a finished voiced video agent today, you’ll hit the same wall I did. Test it, see what it does for you, but don’t build a client deliverable around it yet.

What’s coming next: project management inside GoHighLevel

Not live yet, but worth knowing about. GoHighLevel showed a sneak peek of native project management living under Tasks — spaces, folders, lists, tasks, and sub-tasks, with due dates, assignees, priorities, and both Kanban and list views. The goal is clearly to let agencies drop tools like ClickUp and run client delivery inside the same CRM they already use for everything else. I’m watching for the beta closely — once it’s live, it’s worth its own full walkthrough.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find Labs in GoHighLevel to turn these features on?

From the agency view, scroll to the bottom and click Settings, then Labs. Some features, like events and tag categories, need to be activated per sub-account from there.

Can I send emails from multiple domains without creating separate accounts?

Yes. Set up your domains under Settings > Email Services, then assign a domain per workflow inside each workflow’s own settings — no separate sub-accounts needed.

Do I need to rebuild my calendars to offer multiple appointment lengths?

No. Edit your existing calendar, go to Booking Rules, and add additional durations. One calendar link now serves all the time options.

Is the new AI video and audio agent ready to use with clients?

Not fully. It generates short video clips and can write voice scripts, but in testing the audio didn’t attach to the generated video. It’s promising but still rough.

If you want a full step-by-step build-along on any one of these — events, workflows, or the tag system — that level of detail is exactly what the GoHighLevel Masterclass covers. And if you’re new here, start with what Automated Marketer is or check the FAQ for common GoHighLevel questions.
